Show Units Progress as of 24th July 2010

As we approach the month end, the progress of the show units seem to be of great interest.  Funnily, the interest seem to be coming from those who have already purchased a unit and are keen to get an idea of what they should be expecting.  Well, for those who do not have the luxury of passing by the housing development, I hope that this gives you an idea.

The show units are located at Precint 3 of Garden Residence and this area is going to be called Jacaranda.

The unit with the least interest would probably be the guard house :-) It is looking good with a design that is inline with the whole design concept of the houses.  It has also been carefully designed with 2 car park for visitors to park their cars whilst registering and hence not block the way.

As you pass the guard house, you will get the rear view of the club house and part of the “water feature” that the developers were heavily promoting.

I couldn’t fit the 3 storey superlink into the earlier picture, so here it is … note that the balcony of the 3 storey link is as the brochure, with the glass barrier, as oppose to the vertical metal grill of the 2 storey superlink.

I managed to sneak into the furnished 2 storey semi-detached and was kinda awed by the staircase actually.  Well, I am sure we will all look forward to viewing the units … probably next weekend!

Show Units Progress as of 15th July 2010

In just 2 weeks, all the units have had their external walls painted.  The 2 storey semi detached even has the interior decoration completed (and it was locked).  Anyhow, the next unit that is being decorated is the 3 storey superlink unit and here are some pictures of the progress.

Unfortunately, the place was quite messy and lots of workmen around.  So, I didn’t manage to walk about for long as the smell of the paint and glue is overwhelming.  Here are some pictures of the exterior as of mid July.

That’s all … looks promising that it will be completed by this month end.  Oh, the road leading to the show units are being re-surfaced.

Show Units Progress as of 30th June 2010

Some of you maybe interested in the progress of the show units and as of the end of June 2010, most of the building walls have been completed.  The windows are being installed on most of the units as per the photos below.

The windows for the 3-storey semi-d show units is being installed.  It looks like it is not a single large glass pane but smaller (and cheaper) pieces put together.  However, it is still reasonably large pieces of glass and should allow enough light in.

On the other side, where they are building the show units for the superlinks and the bungalows, the status is about the same.  Except that the 2-storey superlink seem to have all its windows installed and some parts of the show unit painted.

Double Storey Link frame started

The first of the frame of the double storey link furthermost block can be seen as of this week (28th June 2010).  From the picture below, you can see the concrete frame behind the piling poles.

Maybe a little hard to see it as the piling poles are in the way.  Other news, the piling of Precinct 2 (mainly double storey semi-detach) seems to be completed as new piling poles are appearing at Precinct 3.

On the show unit progress, nearly all units have their walls plastered (cemented) and window/glass frames are being installed on at least 2 of the unit types (I believe it’s the double storey link and the two and a half storey semi-detach).

They have planted tall trees around the ingress from the putrajaya link and (not shown above) they are continuing to plant grass along the wall that will face putrajaya.

That’s all for now, I still haven’t taken time to go nearer to get clearer pictures yet.

Sales Office / Future Club House

The sales office have recently moved to the site, housed in the reception of the future club house.  The show units are still being built but they have completed the road that leads to the sales office and also the show unit.  The street lights have also been installed for that short stretch.

The picture was taken around 7:30 pm.

 

At the time of this posting, the walls of the show units have been plastered with the exception of the 3-storey superlink show units.
